Two Descendants, Noa Leatomu And Estella Loupatty, Join The Indonesian Women's National Team TC

Noa Leatomu and Emella Loupatty participated in the Indonesian Women's National Team TC (doc. PSSI).

JAKARTA - Two descendants, Noa Leatomu and Emella Loupatty, have undergone selection and training camp from the Indonesian Women's National Team which is taking place on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at ABC Senayan Field, Jakarta.

Noa currently plays in the KRC Genk Ladies Belgium and plays as a defender. While Estella plays in the AFC Vrouwen 1, the Netherlands, and plays in the striker position.

"Our first exercise was sunny and very hot in the morning. I had to face it, but it was raining in the afternoon and I felt I could show more of my abilities. However, everything went well," said Noa after afternoon's training.

"Just like Noa, our bodies seem to have to adapt quickly to the weather in Jakarta. We are not used to it. However, this afternoon, with the rain coming, it is better than morning training," said Estella.

In addition, they also expressed the similarities and differences in practicing at Indonesian women's clubs and national teams.

"We play fast at the club. Actually not much different, sometimes the same. Coach Mochi (Satoru Mochizuki) is a Japanese coach. Usually also applies fast play."

"Other players also have to run to support each other. My strength is at speed and it is in line with the training of coach Mochi," said Noa.

"Yes, there are many similarities between the club and the Indonesian Women's National Team. Fast games and running for each other and providing a lot of support for one player and another," said Emsetia.

Meanwhile, Noa and Estella admitted that they still need to adapt to the team as a whole, including the language, and the instructions of coach Satoru Mochizuki.

However, that is not an obstacle. Big motivation to continue learning from both of them is the key to adaptation which will take place quickly.

"I have to adapt quickly to this team. The more I get to know them, the better of course and I really hope for that," said Noa.

"I will continue to study. It is very necessary so that Me and Noa can communicate well with the team on the pitch."

"However, with us being closer to them, understanding each other like each other, it's getting better," said Estella.
