Pedri: Spain's Main Strength At Euro 2024 Is A Strong Bond Between Players

"I think in the last few days we've been talking about this, that our biggest asset is us, it's a team, we're both family on and off the pitch," Barcelona Pedri told reporters on Tuesday, June 11.

"Leaders are actually the whole team. There are a lot of players who captain us a lot, they act as leaders, but I think the big difference with all the teams is that we are a team and no leader stands out from the others," he explained.

Spain, three-time champion, started their Euro 2024 campaign on June 15 against Croatia and will also face defending champions Italy and Albania in Group B.

"It's important to start well. But we've seen that many teams have won big tournaments despite losing their first game," said Pedri.

"You don't have to worry about that game. It's clear that we're going out to win and we're not leaving anything on the pitch and above all, that, comes out with everything. We're really looking forward to it, we're so young and we really want this tournament to start soon," he added.

With high enthusiasm and careful preparation, the Spanish team is determined to present their best performance at Euro 2024, with the spirit of togetherness as their main strength.
