Two Billiards World Champions Participate In Enlivening POBSI Equibition

JAKARTA The Indonesian Billiards Sports Association (POBSI) held an exhibition match titled 10 Ball The Real King. The event took place on June 10-13, 2024.

Two world-class fans, Francisco Sanchez Ruiz and Albin Ouschan, were also presented by POBSI to enliven the event. Francisco Sanchez Ruiz is a billionaire with the title of world title 9 balls in 2023 and world title 8 balls in 2022.

Meanwhile, Albin Ouschan is a 9-ball world champion in 2021 and 2016.

"The key is that if you want to go forward, one of them must compete. So, the competition cannot be forgotten, one of the businesses. Then, the competition that is getting better and better," said PB POBSI General Chair Hary Tanoesoedibjo, at a press conference in Jakarta.

Two potential Indonesian billionaires, Ode Nandra and Kenny Franson, had the opportunity to challenge Francisco Sanchez Ruiz and Albin Ouschan in an exhibition match.

Hary hopes that this exhibition match can provide mental training for young Indonesian potential athletes in order to be able to adjust to the level of world-class players' games.

"I noticed they played well, but when they were international they sometimes lacked confidence. Billiards were balls, yes. If they were nervous, they couldn't even miss a little bit."

"So, we improve their technical abilities. They often forget what we practice their technical abilities, but we also need to hone their mental strength," said Hary Tanoesoedibjo.

The PB POBSI step, which was so intense in organizing the national and international billiards championship, received appreciation from the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora), Dito Ariotedjo.

Dito underlined that currently the potential of Indonesian billionaires is growing, one of which is producing a talented billionaire from Gianyar, Ode Nandra.

"I see how the international and regional championships are getting more mature in the competition. The potential is huge. I thank POBSI."

"The organizers received a report that there was an eight-year-old child, if I'm not mistaken, Ode Nandra came from Gianyar, who on social media was very good at playing at that time."

"We contacted POBSI and sent a recruitment team. Gari is for a trial against world champions," said Dito.

Francisco is happy because he can be present to help Indonesia in developing achievements. The Spaniard will give his best performance even if he only appears in an exhibition event.

"I am very happy to be here to help Indonesia. This is one of the largest countries in the pool. So, I am very happy to be here to play against my colleague, Albin," said Francisco.

In line with Francisco, Albin will also give all his ability to appear to be the best in this exhibition match.

The Austrian billionaire also felt specialized by Indonesians and made his first experience so memorable.

"This is a special treatment that we get here. So much love and passion for this game. I'm always happy to see it," said Albin.
