Three Teams Have Qualified For The 2024 Four Proliga Final

JAKARTA The 2024 Proliga volleyball competition has completed its fifth week. So far, there are three teams that have confirmed themselves to qualify for Final Four.

Week five of the Second Round takes place on June 6-9, 2024 at GOR Si Jalak Harupat, Bandung, West Java. The three teams that passed were two each from the men's team and the other from the women's category.

The newest team to qualify is Palembang Bank SumselBabel. They pocketed Final Four tickets after defeating Jakarta STIN BIN 3-1 (25-23, 18-25, 26-24, and 25-22) on Sunday, June 9, 2024.

The result led Palembang Bank SumselBabel to the top of the men's category standings. They have a record of eight wins and one defeat from nine matches.

Palembang's 21 points collection is actually less than Jakarta LavAni Allobank's, which collects 22 points. However, Palembang has more winning numbers so it has the right to occupy the first position.

LavAni, who is in second place so far, secured seven wins and suffered two defeats. On the same day LavAni also secured their position in Final Four.

Tickets to Final Four were secured by LavAni after beating the sixth-placed team in the standings, Kudus Sukun Badak, 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-20).

Meanwhile, from the women's category, one ticket to Final Four was won by Jakarta Popsivo Polwan. They only suffered one defeat against Bandung BJB Tandamata on Friday, June 7, 2024.

A record of eight wins and one defeat from nine matches made Popsivo top the standings with a collection of 24 points. They are five points ahead of Jakarta BIN in second place.

From the women's category, only Petrokimia Pupuk Indonesia, whose chances of qualifying for Final Four, have been closed. The reason is, from nine matches, they have only won once and lost eight times.
