Six Descendant Players Are On The U-20 Indonesian National Team List At The 2024 Toulon Cup

JAKARTA - The U-20 Indonesian national team coach, Indra Sjafri, has determined 26 players to appear in the 2024 Toulon Cup. From the list of names, Jens Ravens is believed to have helped strengthen the Garuda Asia squad.

Indra Sjafri chose the composition of the front players with more numbers to form a team for the event which was held on June 3-16, 2024.

In addition, in this selection of players, the coach also included six abroad players or those with careers abroad.

Based on the tournament's official website, the six abroad and descendants included by Indra Sjafri are Dion Wilhelmus Eddy Markov from the Dutch club NEC Nijmegen, Henri Victor Geypens Team from FC Twenty, Sem Peter Yvel from NAC Breda, Welber Jardim from Sao Paulo, Hinoke Mauresmo Johannes from FC Dordrecht, and Jens Raven from FC Dordrecht.

The U-20 Indonesian national team is scheduled to start their inaugural match in the 2024 Toulon Cup against Ukraine on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. After that, Indra Sjafri's team will face Panama on June 6, 2024.

Japan will face the U-20 Indonesian national team on Saturday, June 8, 2024. The last match was closed against Italy on June 12, 2024.
