Semifinals Of Singapore Open 2024: Schedule Of 2 Indonesian Representatives

JAKARTA Indonesia still has as many as two representatives who survive in the semifinals of the Singapore Open 2024. Here is their schedule today in the top four of the tournament.

The series of semifinal matches at the Singapore Indoor Stadium will begin at 12.00 WIB this afternoon. All matches were held at Field 1.

The remaining two Indonesian representatives are the women's singles Gregoria Mariska Tunjung and the men's doubles pair Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto. Both were tested by all the seeds.

Gregoria will play first compared to Fajar/Rian. The badminton player from Wonogiri will participate in the sixth match against the world number one women's singles from South Korea, An Se Young.

An Se Young is the first seed in this tournament. On paper he was very seeded because he had a 6-0 win-loss record against the Indonesian representative.

Of the six victories, An Se Young always appears dominant. He was recorded as winning two straight games four times and was met with a rubber game in the remaining two meetings.

Meanwhile, Fajar/Rian will play in the party at the last, namely the tenth match. They will face fifth seed from Denmark, Kim Astrup/Anders Skaarup Rasmussen.

This will be the seventh clash between the two pairs. In the previous six clashes, Kim/Andrers led the 4-2 winning lead.
