Persija And PSIS Participate In Enlivening Premium Sports

JAKARTA Persija Jakarta and PSIS Semarang are included in the four teams that will participate in the Premium Sports event. Both will compete with two Malaysian teams, Selangor FC and Sabah FC.

The competition will be held at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) on May 30 and June 2, 2024. The tournament, which is held in collaboration with Nine Sport Inc as Co-Promotor, will provide a total prize of 50 thousand US dollars or equivalent to Rp803 million.

Programming and Acquisition Director of RCTI, Dini Putri, said that this competition is part of RCTI's commitment to supporting government programs.

The program in question is the development of sports culture in society and increasing sports achievements, especially football at the international level.

"The competition of the four leading teams will certainly provide spectacular matches that entertain all football lovers, especially the Indonesian people," said Dini.

The inaugural match of this tournament will be held on May 30, 2024 at 17.00 WIB. While the second match is at 19.30 WIB. The tournament will be broadcast live by RCTI, MNC Vision, K-Vision, and Vision+.

The competition then continued on June 2, 2024, with the same time details. On the second day, the third place match was held first followed by the final in the second match.

The team that comes out as champions will get 30 thousand US dollars along with the Rajawali Cup for the team and medals for each player.

Then, the team that is the runner-up in the tournament will receive 15 thousand US dollars along with medals for the players. Finally, the team that finished third and fourth positions each received 10 thousand US dollars and five thousand US dollars.

In addition, plaques are also provided for award recipients, such as the Man of the Match, MVP of the Tournament, Goal of the Tournament, and Fair Play Award.

The match between the four teams used a semifinal format. The teams that won in the first match will make their way to the finals and the losers will meet each other to win third place.

The match time remains normal 2 x 45 minutes with the substitution of the players not limited. If the score remains even until the normal time ends, it will be continued to the penalty shootout round.
