List Of 6 Big Badminton Tournaments Before The 2024 Paris Olympics

Anthony Sinisuka Ginting is one of Indonesia's mainstays at the 2024 Paris Olympics (doc. PBSI).

There are still six major tournaments at the remaining Super 500, 750, and 1000 levels and can be followed by Indonesian athletes in preparation for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The qualification for collecting points for badminton (sports) to go to France has been completed. Indonesia has as many as six representatives who will appear in the world's largest multi-events.

The six representatives are Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, Jonatan Christie, Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti, and Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari.

The names above can hone their skills in the remaining six major tournaments in preparation for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Four of the six tournaments have Super 500 levels. Then, there is one level 750 tournament and the other is Super 1000 BWF level.

One of the four tournaments with Super 500 levels is Thailand Open 2024. The event with a total prize of 420,000 dollars will take place by Nimibutr Stadium on May 14-15, 2024.

The next Super 500 is the 2024 Malaysia Masters. This tournament will take place at the Axiata Arena, Kuala Lumpur, on 21-26 May 2024 with the same total prizes as those provided at the Thailand Open 2024.

Next are the Australian Open 2024 on 11-16 June 2024 and the Canada Open on 2-7 July 2024.

The Canada Open 2024 is the last major tournament that Indonesian athletes can participate in before appearing in Paris.

However, before going to Australia and Canada, Indonesian athletes can appear at the Singapore Open 2024 with Super 750 levels and the Indonesia Open 2024 with Super 1000 levels.

The Singapore Open 2024 will take place from 28 May to 2 June 2024. Meanwhile, the Indonesia Open 2024 will take place from 4-9 June 2024.

Men's singles Anthony Ginting is the defending champion at the Singapore Open 2024, a tournament that this year will provide a prize of 850,000 dollars. Ginting came out as the champion there in the last two editions.

In 2022, Anthony Ginting won with the men's doubles Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin and women's doubles Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti. Meanwhile, in 2023, he will be the only Indonesian representative to win there.

The 2024 Paris Olympics will take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024. Badminton will return to Indonesia's backbone to receive a gold medal in the four-yearly multi-event.
