JAKARTA - A warning to Arsenal who are ambitious to reach the Champions League semifinals. The reason is, Arsenal against Bayern Munich who were injured after failing to win the German Bundesliga title. The match against Arsenal will be Kane's outlet. In the first match, Bayern failed to win after being detained by the Gunners 2-2 through Leandro Trossard's goal.

The draw made both teams have the same chance to qualify for the semifinals. This is related to the elimination of away goals.

Even though Bayern were able to score two goals at home to Arsenal, none of that was taken into account. If the score is 0-0 or 1-1, Bayern does not automatically qualify and the match is continued in extra time and then on penalties.

"From the club's point of view, we are considered a failure if we don't win any trophies. So, we really hope to win this game and win," Kane was quoted as saying by The Sun.

"We are aware that we do not reach the standards as desired as a team. But we are trying to keep the fans' hopes. We hope to win trophies even though we don't have the best season," he said again.

However, Thomas Tuchel's team cannot underestimate Arsenal, who is currently one of the best Premier League teams.

Although Arsenal lost 2-0 against Aston Villa in the domestic competition, manager Mikel Arteta said players had returned to focus on this crucial match.

"The results against Villa have no effect on this match. We are ready to show our best performance so that we can get to the semifinals," said Arteta.

"Preparations have been made for the Champions League. We have the opportunity to make it happen. Mainly we have to refocus and build confidence. We also have confidence in being able to beat them and qualify," he said again.

In that match, Bayern was not fully strengthened by Alphonso Davies who was absent due to the accumulation of yellow cards. The position of player for the Canadian national team was taken over by Raphael Guerreiro. The hosts also lost wing duo Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman who were injured in the hamstring.

Arsenal themselves have no problem with player injuries. Only captain Martin Odegaard was injured in the match against Villa so he had to be pulled out.
