The Presence Of Redmen Is Expected To Boost The Indonesian Volleyball Industry

Redmen will face Indonesia All Stars in the opening exhibition match of the 2024 Proliga (Instagram/@red__sparks).

JAKARTA The presence of a professional women's volleyball club from South Korea, JungKwanJang Redmen, is expected to boost the volleyball industry in Indonesia.

Redmen arrived at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Cengkareng, on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, WIB night. They came to have a friendly match against the Indonesia All Stars.

The club, which was defended by the Megawati Hanggetri Pertiwi national volleyball player, brought all troops to Indonesia to undergo the match which was planned to be held at the Indonesia Arena, Senayan, Jakarta.

"So, we hope it's time for us to increase the volleyball industry. We look forward to the revival of the Indonesian volleyball world," said Acting (Plt) Director of the Institute for Fund Management and Sports Business (LPDUK) of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora), Ferdinand Kamariki Tangkung.

The Redmen's group consists of 42 people consisting of players, backups, officials, coaches, management teams, and internal media. Later, Megawati will compete in a full team, including strengthened by Megawati.

Megawati played an important role in the Red knowledge squad. Her presence at the club made the team's popularity soar, especially among Indonesian volleyball lovers.

This can be seen from the large number of fans waiting for the arrival of the Redmen's entourage at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. They are here to capture the moment with Yeum Hye-seon and friends.

"Hopefully at this good start, later on, the series of activities, namely the gala dinner on April 19, 2024 and the main event on April 20, 2024, can all run smoothly," said Ferdinand.

The match between Red Spark and Indonesia All Stars was held under the title Fun Volleyball 2024. This match can be watched through Moji TV and streaming on Vidio on Saturday, April 20, 2024 starting at 18.00 WIB.

This exhibition match is one of the events marking the opening of the national volleyball league's highest caste, Proliga 2024. The competition starts next week.
