Marquez Glad To Get A Podium Opportunities In MotoGP America

JAKARTA Marc Marquez is delighted to have a podium opportunity for the first time in MotoGP this season after getting a grid in the front row at the American Grand Prix.

The American MotoGP will take place tonight at the Circuit of the American, Texas, United States, Monday, April 15 at 02.00 WIB. Marquez will start the race from third in the front row.

Marquez is behind two other fellow Spanish colleagues, namely Maverick Vi Marijules (Aprilia) in first place and Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GAS Tech3) in third.

"The goal is the first two lines and being in the front row is something that seems very difficult and we have achieved it," Marquez was quoted as saying by Motosan.

This is the start of the first line for Marquez this season. In the previous two races, the six-time world champion got the best in sixth place, aka in second.

This happened in the first series race to take place in Qatar. At that time, he finished the race in fourth place, behind defending champions Francesco Bagnaia, Brad Binder, and Jorge Martin.
