Shin Tae-yong Is Looking For An Ideal Composition In The U-23 Indonesian National Team's Second Trial

Indonesia U-23 has conducted a trial against Saudi Arabia in preparation for the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup (doc. PSSI).

JAKARTA - The U-23 Indonesian national team is undergoing a training camp (TC) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on April 1-10, 2024. In the TC agenda, Garuda Muda is also scheduled to conduct two trials.

The U-23 Indonesian national team training camp was held in preparation for appearing in the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup on April 15-1 May 2024 in Qatar.

One trial has been completed against Saudi Arabia on Friday, April 5, 2024, local time or Saturday, April 6, 2024, early morning WIB.

The U-23 Indonesian national team must recognize the superiority of Saudi Arabia 1-3 at The Sevens Stadiun, Dubai.

In the first trial, Shin Tae-yong played almost all the players. You see, he aims to see the condition of the players for about five days training in Dubai.

Next, Garuda Muda will face the United Arab Emirates on Monday, March 8, 2024 local time. In the second trial later, Shin Tae-yong has begun to focus on finding the ideal composition for the first team.

"For the next trial against the United Arab Emirates, we will play the core players first. This is to anticipate the game against Qatar on April 15, 2024 (in the inaugural match of the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup group phase)."

"Surely the core team will be played more. Apart from the core team, there will be another chance for the players," said Shin Tae-yong.

Previously, Shin Tae-yong admitted that there were still problems at the back of the U-23 Indonesian national team in the inaugural trial against Saudi Arabia.

The result will be a lesson for the second trial and of course an improvement before actually appearing in an official tournament, namely the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup.

The U-23 Indonesian national team is in Group A of the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup with the hosts Qatar, Australia, and Jordan.

After fighting Qatar on April 15, 2024, Indonesia U-23 Ialu challenged Australia on April 18, 2024 and last met Jordan on April 21, 2024.

PSSI targets the U-23 Indonesian national team to qualify from the group stage or to the last eight. If it reaches the semifinals, it will certainly open up opportunities to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Rizky Ridho and his friends must at least be ranked third to get an automatic ticket with the tournament winners and runners-up to the 2024 Paris Olympics.
