Welber Jardim Was Present, But Did Not Participate In The Last Exercise Of The U-20 Indonesian National Team

Welber Jardim was seen attending the last training of the U-20 Indonesian national team on Thursday, April 4, 2024, WIB night. However, he did not participate in training with the team. Apparently the player got relief because he was about to return to Brazil.

The last training session for the Indonesian U-20 national team before the Eid al-Fitr holiday was held at Field B, Senayan. On that agenda, Welber was present, but he did not join his colleagues because it turned out that he had to prepare for a flight to the country where he lived.

"Today I didn't practice. I came home today at 1 am. I have to go to the airport at 20.30 WIB. The coach told me there was no need to practice today," said Welber Jardim.

Although he could not be involved in the last training of the U-20 Indonesian national team, previously Jardim had experienced how Indra Sjafri trained. He also revealed a fairly memorable experience.

"Our team is currently good, but we have a lot of training to make the team play better. We have to listen more to the coach and listen to instructions when playing on the pitch," said Welber.

On that occasion, there was a funny moment. Welfer, who did not participate in training, instead gave instructions to his friends to be excited about training. Welfer's style was eccentric because it was done jokingly.

Regarding his attitude on the pitch, the Sao Paulo player then explained that according to him, slipping a little joke in the exercise was necessary so that the situation was not too stiff.

"Yes, I'm a person who likes to joke all the time. My friends are great, like to joke with friends. There must be a little joke, you have to know when to joke and when to focus too," said Welber.

This training session is part of the U-20 Indonesian national team training camp (TC) in preparation for appearing in the 2024 AFF U-19 Cup and 2025 U-20 Asian Cup Qualification.
