JAKARTA A total of 18 women's basketball players from the U-18 Indonesian national team have immediately joined the training camp after passing the selection stage from March 22 to 24, 2024.
The training camp will take place from March 25 to April 7, 2024 at the Merpati Sports Center (GOR), Bali.
The basketball players who participated in this training camp were the result of monitoring in various championships and recommendation players for the Perbasi provincial management (Pengprov) throughout Indonesia.
"This training camp is still being promoted and relegated," said the U-18 Indonesian Women's Basketball National Team Manager, Dedy Setiawan.
Thus, the players who take part in this training camp will shrink. Their position could be shifted by six other names who are currently studying in the United States and are under the supervision of the coaching team.

Undeveloped basketball players will be eliminated and the opportunity will be given to other, better players, especially the six basketball players who are studying abroad.
The six players are Jasmine Prajitno and Justine Parjitno from West Java. Then Maxine Maria Sutisna and Evangeline Clarissa Djohan from DKI Jakarta, as well as Callista Gabrielle Purwadi and Felicitas Mikayla Purwadi from Banten.
Dedy said the current players are all potential. However, they need to train together for a long time in order to build chemistry.
"If they want to get maximum results, they must continue to be collected for joint training for a long time," he said.
