JAKARTA - Minister of Elementary and Secondary Education (Mendikdasmen) Abdul Mu'ti said there had been no discussion regarding school holidays during Ramadan 2025 or the fasting month.

He said this was still a discourse at the Ministry of Religion, not in the form of a decision. Regarding whether it will be discussed at the coordinating ministry level, Abdul also admitted that he did not know.

"This is because it concerns national holidays, of course, I think a joint decision must be made across ministries.
