Ahead Of Atletico Vs Inter Milan, Inzaghi Owed To Dinner To Players

JAKARTA - Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi owes a dinner to the players. Because of this, Yann Bisseck's defender managed to score a goal which gave Inter a 1-0 win over Bologna in the Italian Serie A match.

Bisseck scored a goal, Inzaghi seemed not to believe it. Because he promised to pay for the player's dinner if there was a centre-back who scored a goal. However, with the action strategy applied, players in any position have the opportunity to score. Inzaghi uses a 3-5-2 play scheme which is considered to tend to be defensive. It's just that in Inzaghi's hands, the scheme can make the team play offensively.

The aggressive attacking style of play is presented by Inter Milan this season. The result is quite astonishing. Inter became a very productive team. They have broken into the opponent's goal 70 times and conceded only 13 goals.

Inter are far ahead with AS Roma, who are ranked second as the most productive team by collecting 52 goals.

"We are still looking for time because I owe you more dinner than once. The brand has given me happiness. It's just a bit difficult to get a time when we can go out together," he said again.

Inzaghi also briefly forgot about having dinner with the players because the team had focused on facing Atletico Madrid in the second match of the last 16 of the Champions League. The match was held at Atletico home at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, Thursday, March 14, 2024 in the morning WIB.

Despite winning 1-0 in the first match, Inter have not yet received a guarantee to qualify for the quarter-finals. Inzaghi admits Atletico is difficult to beat when playing at home.

"Atletico always changes when playing at home. In La Liga, they are the team that occupies the first position when playing at home," he said.

"From 14 home games, they won 13 times and drew once," said Inzaghi.

Inzaghi said the team must be prepared carefully to reduce Atletico's aggressiveness. According to him, Inter cannot speculate against Los Rojiblancos.
