Ahead Of The Opponent Of Persis Solo, Persib Bandung Coach Is Optimistic With The Preparation And Condition Of Players

JAKARTA - Week 24 of Liga 1 Indonesia will bring together Persib Bandung with Persis Solo which will be held at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium, Bandung, Sunday.

Persib Bandung coach Bojan Hodak at a press conference session on Saturday emphasized that his team was ready to serve Persis Solo. Bojan also explained that his team's condition is different from that of the meeting in the first round.

In the first round, reported by ANTARA, Saturday, February 3, his team was not strengthened by Nick Kuipers due to the accumulation and injury of Alberto Rodriguez and Teja Paku Alam, however, this time the players were more complete.

"At that time we lost several players who could be said to be pillars, for example Nick, Alberto, Teja. All players have the passion to achieve positive results this time and we play at home," said Bojan, quoted from the club's official website, Saturday.

Regarding the current condition of the team, the Croatian coach explained that all players were fresher after returning from the competition break during the Qatar 2023 Asian Cup.

The former PSM Makassar coach added that he saw all the preparations were going well and quite optimistic about the match against Persis Solo.

"Good preparation of course. We get a day off and make players fresher. Our players are also more complete and the match for tomorrow we will prepare players who are ready, we are positive looking at tomorrow's match," he concluded.

In tomorrow's match, Persib Bandung carries a mission of revenge because in the first round Ciro Alves and colleagues had to lose with a narrow score of 1-2.

In addition, the victory in the match will maintain Persib Bandung's hopes of occupying the top four positions.

Persib Bandung is now in third place in the Indonesian League 1 standings with 40 points from 23 matches, 11 points adrift of Borneo FC in first place.
