2023 Asian Cup Results: Indonesian National Team Wins Vs Vietnam 1-0, Keeps Asa To The Last 16

The Indonesian national team won three points against Vietnam in Group D of the 2023 Asian Cup (doc. PSSI).

JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team managed to maintain hope for the last 16 of the 2023 Asian Cup after winning 1-0 over Vietnam in the second match of Group D.

In the match which was held at the Abdullah bin Khalifah Stadium, Friday, January 19, 2024, WIB night, the Indonesian national team's single goal was created by Asnawi Mangkualam Bahar.

The captain became the penalty taker after the referee pointed to the spot. The penalty came after Rafael Struick was fouled by Nguyen Tanh Bin in box 12 just right. Tanh Bin was caught pulling Struick's back until he fell.
