Indonesia Sends 12 Representatives At India Open 2024

Fajar/Rian will appear at the 2024 India Open (doc. PBSI).

JAKARTA In total there are 12 representatives who are included in the Indonesian squad list for the India Open 2024 tournament. This event takes place from 16-21 January 2024.

This is a Super 750 BWF level tournament. The tournament will be held after the Malaysia Open 2024 next week and before the Indonesia Masters 2024 which will take place in the last week of this month.

Of the total representatives, the men's doubles number sent the most, namely four representatives. Followed by men's singles and mixed doubles of three representatives each.

Meanwhile, in the singles and women's doubles sectors, each sent one representative, namely Gregoria Mariska Tunjung and the pair Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti.

The four men's doubles in this tournament are Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin, and Bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri.

Then, Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja, Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati, and Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari are representatives of mixed doubles.

Finally, the three men's singles in the draw, namely Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, Jonatan Christie, and Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo.

The India Open is included in one of the remaining 12 tournaments that are included in the collection of the 2024 Paris Olympics Qualification points. Thus, Indonesian representatives will try to perform their best in order to go to France later.
