Pochettino Frustration, Chelsea Loses Because Players Can't Score Goals

JAKARTA - Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino is frustrated. Chelsea lost again in the English Premier League competition. Pochetino called players difficult to score so Chelsea lost 2-1 to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The problem of a clinical striker makes it difficult for Chelsea to win the match. Pochettino said that Chelsea had many opportunities against Wolves at the Molineux Stadium, Sunday, December 24 evening WIB.

It's just that the weak final finish makes it difficult for Chelsea to score goals. Only one goal was created when Christopher Nkunku broke into Wolves' goal in injury time.

This was Nkunku's first goal since joining Chelsea. But the goal only reduced the Blues' defeat. There was no time to equalize the score as the game ended a few minutes later.

"We are really disappointed because in my opinion we should get more. This competition makes you hurt if you are not clinical enough. We made many chances but no goals were created," said Pochettino.

"This makes me disappointed. We conceded after several corner kicks. This makes it difficult for us," he said.

According to Pochettino, the team will have to score more goals if they want to win. He also hopes players learn from this defeat.

"We have to be able to score goals if we want to win. Sometimes we can keep the clean sheet, but we can't score goals. We also conceded frequently through corner kick. This young team still has to learn from this defeat," said Pochettino again.

Chelsea lost again when they were treated by Wolves after winning 2-0 over Sheffield United.

This makes Chelsea swallow four defeats in away matches since being handled by Pochettino and has lost eight times this season.
