Bengawan Solo Knight Still Prepares Surprise For IBL 2024

TheNESS of Bengawan Solo has introduced itself ahead of the 2024 IBL (doc. IBL).

JAKARTA Kesatria Bengawan Solo still has a surprise player who has not been announced even though they have introduced themselves ahead of the 2024 IBL season.

Welcoming the IBL next season, Bengawan Solo will feature coaches, players, and management. This team will be led by head coach Efri Meldi.

"I am very satisfied with the current roster, but there are still players who have not been introduced. This is part of the surprise we gave fans," said Efri Meldi, quoted by the IBL website.

Kesatria is a new team that will start its journey in the professional league starting in the 2024 season. Despite the status of a new team, Kesatria is quite capable as a roster.

Apart from being led by Meldi, this team will be strengthened by experienced players. Among them are Andre Rorimpandey, Tifan Eka Pradita, Kevin Moses Eliazer Poetiray, Hengki Infanti, and Ruslan.

Then there are also players who have become the mainstay of the coach, such as Nuke Tri Saputra and Andre Adrianno.

"If you look at all experienced players like this, I just hope for a quick match," said Meldi.

On the way to next season, Medi will be assisted by one of the Solo basketball legends, namely Rachmad Febri Utomo. This name will serve as an assistant coach.

"Febri has been accompanying me since last season. Hopefully his experience can be transmitted to players. He has also won IBL and ABL. His presence will complement each other's shortcomings in the team," said Meldi.

The IBL 2024 competition season will roll on January 13, 2024. TheNESS of Bengawan Solo set a fairly high target in their inaugural season, namely entering the playoffs.

TheNESS is included in the 14 teams that will compete at the highest level of national basketball. This season will be the first season of the match being held with a home and away system.
