Dramatistic, Mbappe's Controversial Goal In The Last Minute Saves PSG From Newcastle's Recorded

JAKARTA - A dramatic match. Paris Saint-Germain escaped defeat when they drew 1-1 against Newcastle United in the Champions League Group F match at the Parc des Princes Stadium, Wednesday, November 29 in the morning WIB. PSG star Kylian Mbappe saved the team from being attacked by The Toon Army after scoring a controversial goal from the penalty spot in the last minute.

PSG almost fell at home. Luckily, the French Ligue 1 team escaped defeat and kept their chances of qualifying for the knockout round.

The competition in Group F is among the hottest and strictest. Until the fifth match only Borussia Dortmund had already confirmed their qualify for the last 16. Dortmund advanced to the next round after winning 3-1 over AC Milan.

The victory at the San Siro made Dortmund perched at the top of the standings with points 10.

The advantage of five points over Newcastle who are in third place is no longer able to prevent Dortmund from qualifying. The reason is that there is one more match left.

However, Newcastle and Milan who are at the bottom of the standings can still compete with PSG for one more ticket. Only PSG was a little over the wind because they were in second place with point seven.

The certainty of who wins the second ticket is determined in the last match when PSG faces hosts Dortmund. Meanwhile, Newcastle host Milan.

In that duel, PSG really had a hard time facing Newcastle who played well. They were able to press the hosts who were burdened with winning the match.

The PSG disaster finally happened in the 24th minute when striker Alexander Isak successfully beat goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. The 1-0 score for the Magpies lasted until the end of the first half.

In the second half, PSG tried to get up. Les Parisiens' corrugation attack was indeed a hassle for Newcastle's defense which was held by Kieran Tripper et al. However, Luis Enrique's troops always failed to score.

When the match was expected to belong to Newcastle, suddenly defender Tino Livramento was considered to have touched the ball in the box.

Referee Szymon Marciniak initially allowed the incident to occur towards the end of the match because the ball was deemed to hit Livramento's chest and elbows.

But he then decided to review the incident via VAR. After conducting a review, Marciniak changed his decision and pointed to the spot. Penalty for PSG in the 90+8 minute.

Livramento immediately protested loudly. However, the referee did not heed the Newcastle player's protest.

Mbappe also successfully completed the penalty execution. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
