Playing Bad, Griezmann Saves Atletico Madrid

JAKARTA - Atletico Madrid played under performance aka performed very badly when they hosted Mallorca in the La Liga Spain match at the Metropolitan Stadium, Sunday, November 26 in the morning WIB. Luckily, there was Antoine Griezmann who gave Atletico a narrow 1-0 win.

Atletico's poor performance was saved by Griezmann. How not, Atletico, who faced the bottom team Mallorca, had to work hard to get three points.

In the second half, the appearance of Diego Simeone's troops was better. Striker Alvaro Morata was recorded as having two golden opportunities by kick from close range despite failing to take advantage of it.

Atletico's deadlock ended when Griezmann found the visitors' goal in the 64th minute. The French national team striker completed Mario Hermoso's central defender assist through a header.

After winning, Atletico's game fell again. Mallorca almost equalized the score in the last minute through a counter-attack.

But the easy chance of Amath Ndiaye failed. The 1-0 score for Atletico did not change until the end of the match.

The victory brought Atletico up to third with 31 points. Similar to Barcelona, who lost the goal difference after drawing 1-1 against Rayo Vallecano.

Atletico, who kept one game, is still four points adrift of Girona, who is in first place. While in second place is Real Madrid which has 32 points.
