JAKARTA Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez made sure he was not tempted to move despite an interest from Real Madrid to sign him.
Lautaro responded to rumors of moving to the Spanish giant when attending the Ballon d'Or award ceremony in Paris, France, Tuesday, October 31, 2023 in the morning WIB.
"Obviously we are talking about a very important team, but my thoughts and thoughts are always on Inter," said the Argentine international, quoted by Tribal Football.
Lautaro is currently under contract with Inter until June 2026. However, Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta recently confirmed the 26-year-old wanted to stay at the club.
Therefore, the club plans to offer a new contract for the striker. This is very likely because he is Serie A's top scorer this season, with details of 11 goals in 10 appearances.
