JAKARTA - Honda Team Asia officially announced the composition of their riders for the Moto3 season 2024. There is no name Mario Suryo Aji in it.

The team decided to keep Taiyo Furusato, the rider who is currently Mario Aji's tandem. But this time one slot was handed over to the Thai racer, Tatchakorn Buasri.

"For Moto3, we will be with Taiyo Furusato and Tatchakorn Buasri. Taiyo have done a good thing in his second season. We saw him make developments, and we want to help him continue to grow in the third season. We hope he can be competitive, and he can fight for the championship," said Honda Team Asia manager.

"His partner Tatchakorn shows us the competitive side and fighting spirit he has at the FIM Junior GP and several times as he goes wildcard. We want to see the progress next season," continued Aoyama.

This Honda Team Asia decision makes speculation about Mario Aji's future even hotter. This could be a signal that the young Indonesian racer will be promoted to Moto2 next season.

Mario Aji is widely rumored to be filling the slot left by Ai Ogura.

However, there are also rumors that Mario Aji will no longer appear in the world championship with Honda Team Asia. This news is based on the racer's performance which has dropped dramatically in Moto3 for the 2023 season.
