U-17 National Team Performs Internal Game For The First Time At The Training Camp, Bima Sakti Highlights Player Conditions

JAKARTA - The coach of the U-17 Bima Sakti national team revealed the condition of his players after carrying out the inaugural internal game in training camp (TC). According to the coach, the condition of a number of players is still not in maximum performance.

The internal agenda of the U-17 national team game took place at Field A, Senayan, Jakarta, on Saturday, July 15 morning. Attended by 33 players, Bima Sakti divided the team into two camps which then appeared twice 40 minutes.

Bima Sakti said internal games will be a routine agenda every Saturday that will be undertaken by players who take part in the selection in Jakarta. Although his team has only been on the field for two days, the coach understands the existing conditions.

"Today's training material we do have an internal game every Saturday and this is actually just two days of training, we just got together on Sunday, then on the 10th we haven't gone to the field, we are still taking the initial data from all 33 players," said the Milky Way after leading the exercise.

"I just take a maximum of 40x2 minutes because we want to know the condition of players who haven't practiced for a long time. There are some players who have cramps, some have decreased conditions and that is input for us," he continued.

"Because if it's only 20 minutes we don't know the shortcomings (of the players). So we want to fix it again in the future, God willing, next Saturday their condition will be better," he continued.

In addition to the selection in Jakarta, the search for players for the U-17 national team is also through selection in 12 cities throughout Indonesia. Later there will be 22 names that will enter the team to then defend the U-17 national team in the 2023 U-17 World Cup.

For this agenda, FIFA appointed Indonesia to host the U-17 World Cup after Peru previously resigned. This tournament will start rolling on November 10-2 December.
