Eden Hazard Reveals His Relationship With Carlo Ancelotti: Still Have Respect, But They Don't Talk To Each Other Anymore

JAKARTA - Real Madrid player, Eden Hazard, revealed the extent of his relationship with his coach, Carlo Ancelotti. He admits that he respects the man from Italy, but has never spoken to each other.

Hazard has had a sad time in Madrid. Injuries and inconsistency made him struggle to match his convincing form at his previous club.

The 32-year-old admits his frustration at the lack of opportunities to start for Los Blancos. That's because Ancelotti has frozen him out of the first team.

He hasn't played a single minute in La Liga or the Champions League since returning from the 2022 World Cup. Even though, the player is fit to play.

Hazard then opened up about his relationship with Ancelotti, which has recently become a hot rumor in the media. "There is respect between Ancelotti and me," he said as reported by Diario AS.

"However, I would not say we speak to each other, because we don't. But there will always be respect."

"I have to respect someone like Ancelotti. For what he represents for football, and for what he has done in his career," said Hazard again.

Currently, Hazard's future with Los Blancos is a big question mark. Real Madrid is open to sell Hazard this summer, as the player has entered the final 12 months of his contract.

The potential to leave on a free transfer next summer is a worrying scenario.

Hazard admits that he still wants to stay with Los Blancos. He wants to prove his ability has not run out.

"I want to stay. I've always said that. I hope to play and show that I can still do it," Hazard said

"People have doubts, it's normal, I understand. But for me, I'm still here next year. You never know, but transfers are not in my plans," continued the former Chelsea player.
