During the valid sanctions, PSSI lost their membership rights. In addition, the Indonesian national team in all age categories is prohibited from participating in international competitions, as well as at the club level.

Menpora Zainudin Amali does not want this to happen again. "So the government is really guarding the government area," said the Minister of Youth and Sports in Jakarta, as quoted from Antara, Friday, October 7.

"The government does not want to enter the realm of the federation because we don't want it to happen again like the 2015 one, where the government is too deep so FIFA sees intervention," he continued.

In order to avoid the assumption of intervention by FIFA, the government has so far provided more guidance, facilitation and other assistance.

"I'm taking good care of this, but we are helping and facilitating without us having to intervene. Yesterday it was agreed and it's actually already on," said the man from Gorontalo.

The Minister of Youth and Sports said that all regulations, both FIFA rules and PSSI regulations, would be integrated, including into police regulations, especially regarding security.

"Later it will come out as a rule, namely from the Police, while still adopting all the rules in FIFA and PSSI," said Zainudin.

"Actually FIFA and PSSI are the same, because PSSI takes from the FIFA statutes, so the PSSI statutes are mostly valid in FIFA," he explained again.

In addition, the Ministry of Youth and Sports will also invite PSSI, various football clubs, supporters organizations and committees to design competitions to make it better and the tragedy of Kanjuruhan not to be repeated.

"So I still carry out my function as Menpora, at all I do not function as the deputy chairman of the TGIPF," he said.
