San Marino MotoGP Results: Dennis Foggia Wins Moto3 Class

JAKARTA – The Italian racer who defended the Leopard Racing team, Dennis Foggia, won the Moto3 class in the San Marino MotoGP racing series which was held at the Marco Simoncelli Circuit on Sunday, September 4, 2022.

Foggia completed 23 laps without ever leaving the front row. He emphatically outperformed his toughest competitors, Sergio Garcia and Izan Guevara, the duo of Spaniards in the GasGas Aspar team who currently lead in the first and second places in the drivers' standings.

Garcia himself failed to continue the race after falling in the early lap.

Finishing second behind Foggia was Jaume Masia (Spain) from Red Bull KTM Ajo team. Guevara took third place after fighting desperately in the last round against Deniz Oncu (Turkey/Red Bull KTM Tech3) and Masia.

Despite winning in the San Marino MotoGP series, Dennis Foggia has yet to win the position of leader of the Moto3 riders' standings. The current leader of the standings is occupied by Izan Guevara, while Sergio Garcia has been displaced to second.
