29 Minutes After Saying Farewell To Fenerbahce, Mesut Ozil Immediately Shows Off The New Club: A New Part

JAKARTA - Mesut Ozil did not take long to find a new port after ending his partnership with his old club, Fenerbahce. It only took about 29 minutes for him to announce the new port, according to several European media.

Shortly after bidding farewell to Fenerbahce, Mesut Ozil immediately announced that he had officially joined another Turkish club, Istanbul Basaksehir.

Istanbul Basaksehir agreed to use Ozil's services for the next one year. The agreement also includes an option to extend for 12 months.

Ozil showed off a photo with the new club on his Instagram social media account. The former Arsenal and Real Madrid player also welcomed enthusiastically.

"New chapter," Ozil said on his official Twitter.

Before anchoring to a new club, Ozil agreed to the termination of his contract at Fenerbahce. At his old club, the German player of Turkish descent has not even appeared since last March.

Even though he still has two years left on his contract. Disputes with the coach are accused of being the cause.

With Fenerbahce, Ozil had the opportunity to appear 32 times. Where 10 of them are in 2020/2021 and the remaining 22 are in the 2021/2022 season with a record of eight goals.

By joining Ozil to Basaksehir, it means that he has started his professional football career at six different clubs after Schalke 04, Werder Bremen, Madrid, Arsenal and Fenerbahce.
