Wanting To Bring Former NBA Player 'Big Baby' To The Boxing Ring, Jake Paul Is Looking For Wrestlers To Fight

JAKARTA - Former NBA player Glen 'Big Baby' Davis could be Jake Paul's undercard when the youtuber returns to boxing in August.

Davies played in the NBA for nine seasons, most recently in 2015 for the LA Clippers. He weighs 300 pounds. If Paul's team finds an opponent for him, Davies will make his boxing debut this summer.

Quoted from Marca, Sunday, May 29, Tim Paul, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), is looking for a wrestler to take on Davies in hopes of finding the former WWE heavyweight superstar. The fight will take place on August 13 as part of Paul's undercard.

Paul has an unbeaten record in his five fights. Most recently, he defeated former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley by knockout in December last year.

So far, Paul's opponent for the August fight remains unknown. However, the possibility of him facing Anderson Silva is gaining momentum and his place could be in California.

The UFC legend is one of the favorites to step into the ring against Paul, despite the stark age difference between the two.

Paul (25) is much younger than Silva (47). However, this will not be an obstacle for the two boxers to face each other, at least that's what California will say.

Andy Foster of the California State Athletic Commission said he saw no problem with Paul and Silva facing each other in a boxing match.

"Jake can fight. The idea that he can't fight? He can actually fight," Foster told The MMA Hour.

"But Anderson Silva beat (Julio Cesar) Chavez Jr there and that's almost, that's a real man. And he beat him in Mexico a while back.

"He is fit, he trains hard. I think the fight makes sense. It depends on the rules of the fight, how many rounds," added Foster.
