Boxing Promoter Bob Arum Reveals One Thing That Could Get Fury To The Ring Again

JAKARTA - Beating Dillian Whyte at Wembley should be the last remaining glimpse of Tyson Fury's incredible boxing career. Gypsy King told fans he is retiring and there will be no super-fight against Anthony Joshua.

However, his promoter, Bob Arum, suggested Fury could be tempted to return to the ring for a unification fight against Oleksandr Usyk.

Usyk managed to beat Joshua at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London in September 2021 to win the heavyweight title. The result of this duel automatically destroys all chances of the Joshua Vs Fury fight in 2021/2022.

"Well, I think Fury will wait and see how Joshua's fight with Usyk goes, and then he'll make a decision if he wants to continue," explained Arum in an interview with FightHype.com quoted from Marca, Friday, May 27.

"Apart from fighting the winner Joshua-Usyk, there's nothing exciting for Fury.

"So we have to see."

So far, Anthony Joshua's contract rematch with the Ukrainian fighter is planned for July 23.

However, very little has made the Briton a favorite after his first loss to Usyk.
