Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp Sends Psywar To Manchester City: It's Not Over

JAKARTA - Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has not given up on the competition for the English Premier League title. The German tactician said that the title race is not over yet.

Currently, Liverpool is still in second place standings with a collection of 83 points. They are three points behind Manchester City who occupy the top position.

With three games remaining, Jurgen Klopp deserves to believe Liverpool still has a chance. Optimism is what he then channeled to his players.

"I'm not sure I said that because I thought it was obvious. Obviously, this (the title race) is not over, whatever happens," Klopp said.

The gap in numbers between Liverpool and City has widened after the results of last week's match. When Liverpool only drew against Tottenham Hotspur, City actually won a big 5-0 victory over Newcastle United.

"We have three games to play and my concern is how we can win those three games and I have no opinion on how City can win their games," Klopp said.

The Reds will play their next match against the hosts Aston Villa at Villa Park on Wednesday, 11 May early this morning. Meanwhile, City will face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Thursday, May 12.

After the match against Aston Villa, Liverpool will play their next away game at Southampton before hosting Wolves in the final game. As for City, will face West Ham and Aston Villa after visiting Wolves headquarters.
