When Chelsea Fought Against Arsenal, Cesar Azpilicueta Caught Arguing With Fans

JAKARTA - Chelsea captain, Cesar Azpilicueta, was involved in an unexpected moment when helping his team perform against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Thursday, April 21 in the morning of GMT+7 (Indonesian Time). The captain was caught arguing with fans on the sidelines during the match.

In the footage shown by SkySports, Azpilicueta, who was in the middle of the field, seemed to be starting to step aside because he was disturbed by the cry of a fan on the sidelines.

With the distance getting closer, Azpilicueta got into an argument with the fan. Not satisfied with that, Azpilicueta then walked closer to the audience seats to face the fans directly.

Seeing the situation heating up, the security forces were on alert when Azpilicueta was really very close to the fan. When Azpilicueta really came face to face, the expression on the fans' faces changed.

At that moment the fan seemed to be trying to explain what he meant even though Azpilicueta kept yelling at him. In order to reduce tension, the fan was then seen giving Azpilicueta a thumbs up as a sign that all was well.

After his supporters tried to lighten the mood, the Spaniard finally left the side of the field and continued the match.

Despite this heated moment, Azpilicueta's efforts to help the team pick up the three points at home still ended in vain. Although it was a draw at the end of the first half, the match closed with a 4-2 victory for Arsenal.
