PSSI Exco Member Meets Utrecht And Vitesse Junior Players In The Netherlands, Regarding U-20 World Cup Preparations?

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) Executive Committee member Hasani Abdulgani is known to have flown to the Netherlands to meet Utrecht and Vitesse junior players. The two players we met were players of Indonesian descent.

The two names of the players are Ivar Jenner and Jim Croque. Both are reportedly under the age of 19.

There is speculation that these two players are being prepared to be part of the U-19 Indonesia National Team, which will play in the U-20 World Cup in 2023.

Hasani's meeting with the two players was known through an upload on the PSSI Exco member's Instagram account, as reported by Antara. During the meeting, Ivar Jenner and Jim Crogue were accompanied by their respective parents.

Hasani was also seen giving gifts and a map bearing the PSSI logo. Although they did not provide direct information, it is reasonable to suspect that Ivar and Jim are being targeted for the U-20 World Cup in 2023.

Hasani said this to Antara in mid-March when he was asked about his destination for going to the Netherlands.

"The purpose of going to the Netherlands, one of which I want to see is players who are targeted to strengthen the national team in the U-20 World Cup," he said at the time.

Ivar Jenner himself is a midfielder who plays for the Utrecht U-18 team. Meanwhile, Jim Croque is a 17-year-old striker and is currently strengthening the Vitesse U-18 squad.
