Rachmat Irianto And Ricky Kambuaya Officially Leave Persebaya

JAKARTA – Persebaya Surabaya has officially lost Rachmat Irianto and Ricky Kambuaya. Reportedly these two players will join Persib Bandung.

Persebaya confirmed the departure of Rachmat and Ricky via their official Instagram on Tuesday, April 5 evening.

"The collaboration between Rachmat Irianto and Ricky Kambuaya must end this season," wrote the club nicknamed Bajul Ijo.

The two players left Persebaya with their own reasons. Ricky reportedly could not stay at the club because he could not find an agreement in contract extension talks.

Meanwhile, Rachmat Irianto left Persebaya for family reasons. He also left Persebaya with a heavy heart because it was a dream team since his childhood.

"Good luck Rian (Rachmat Irianto and [Ricky] Kambuaya's nicknames. Don't forget to go home," continued the club, which is based at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium.

Rachmat Irianto and Ricky Kambuaya are the third players to leave Persebaya this season. Previously, Bajul Ijo had already separated from Taisei Marukawa, who had joined PSIS Semarang.
