Praise Christian Eriksen Who Scored A Goal Against Chelsea After Almost Dying At Euro 2020, Thomas Frank: He Brings Quality And Composure To The Team

JAKARTA - Brentford coach Thomas Frank praised Christian Eriksen's players after scoring one goal against Chelsea when the two teams met in Week 31 of the Premier League at Stamford Bridge Stadium, London, Saturday.

Quoted by Antara from Sky Sports on Sunday, Eriksen scored Brentford's second goal in the Chelsea contract match yesterday and made the Bees win 4-1 in the end.

"Christian is a top player, an unbelievable character and he brings quality and calms to the team. You can give that to Christian and he always finds a solution", Frank explained.

The England coach continued to say, since coming to Brentford, Eriksen has been in good shape despite having suffered a heart attack while defending Denmark at Euro 2020.

Frank said Eriksen had no history of serious injuries and his ambition to appear at the World Cup gave the Dane determination when he came on the pitch with Brentford.

He believes Eriksen has a good physical foundation and he never expected the 30-year-old to be able to adapt so quickly to Brentford.

"He doesn't have an ACL injury and when he decided that he wanted to play at the World Cup, that determination, 'I want to get back to football' (to be there) and his physical foundation was pretty good", Frank said.

"We never know how quickly he can reach this level but it is how fast it is impressive."

His goal against Chelsea was Eriksen's first for Brentford after joining the team in the transfer market last winter.
