Liverpool Competes With Barcelona For Players With A Salary Of IDR 1.1 Billion Per Week, Prospective Replacement For Mohamed Salah?

JAKARTA - Liverpool are in danger of losing Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian player has not extended his contract which will expire on June 30, 2023.

Liverpool management is still trying to persuade Salah to immediately sign a new contract. However, they also took anticipatory steps by looking for a potential replacement for Salah.

Liverpool is reportedly eyeing Leeds United's Raphinha. The player with a salary of 63.000 pounds (approximately IDR 1.1 billion) is considered feasible to fill Liverpool's front line.

UOL reported, Liverpool became a club that had taken the first concrete steps to get the former Rennes player.

However, recently, there have been disturbances. Barcelona was also eyeing the Brazilian player.

Sport reports that Barcelona has offered 35 million euros (approximately IDR 552 billion) to Leeds as a fee for Raphinha's transfer. In fact, reportedly, the player has reached an agreement with Barcelona.

Both parties have reportedly agreed to a five-year contract. Barcelona will send Mateu Alemany and Jordi Cruyff to find an agreement with Leeds.

Which club ended up being the port of Raphinha? Barcelona is believed to be in pole position, but Liverpool is likely to continue courting the player.
