Fiorentina Reportedly Reached An Agreement With Arthur Cabral, Potential Replacement For Vlahovic Who Joined Juventus

JAKARTA – Fiorentina has reportedly reached an agreement with Swiss club FC Basel to sign Brazilian striker Arthur Cabral. He will be plotted to replace Dusan Vlahovic.

The news was conveyed by renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano in a tweet on Twitter on Wednesday, January 26. He said that Cabral's signing was just a matter of time.

"Fiorentina have reached full agreement with FC Basel to sign Brazilian striker Arthur Cabral on a permanent deal worth 16 million (IDR 258 billion), including", Fabrizio wrote in a tweet.

Fiorentina's efforts to bring Cabral cannot be separated from the departure of Dusan Vlahovic to Juventus. Vlahovic's move to the club from the city of Turin is reportedly just a matter of days and even hours.

Until now, Fiorentina are said to have reached an agreement to release their bomber to the Old Lady with a tag of 70 million euros, equivalent to IDR 1.1 trillion. The player has agreed to the contract value offered.

Fiorentina will reportedly announce a deal with Cabral after Vlahovic officially joins Juventus. Cabral is the perfect replacement for Fiorentina if they really let Vlahovic go.

Cabral scored a total of 27 goals in 41 games in official competitions for Basel so far this season. That number includes five goals from six matches in the European Conference League.

Previously, Barcelona was said to be interested in him. However, Barcelona coach, Xavi Hernandez, chose Alvaro Morata as a striker who deserves to apply his game.
