Prawira Bandung Still Has Consistency Problems Despite Succeed In Beating Pacific Caesar In First Match

JAKARTA – Prawira Bandung coach managed to get their first win in the IBL 2022 series. However, their game is still considered inconsistent.

A convincing victory was obtained by Prawira Bandung in the first match against Pacific Caesar. David Singleton's team won with a score of 71-54 at the Bung Karno Basketball Hall, Jakarta, Saturday, January 15.

However, the coach was not satisfied with the appearance of his team in the match. The coach from the United States highlighted the inconsistency of his squad so they could not dominate the match.

"Our game in this match (against Pacific) is still up and down, inconsistent," said David in an official statement received.

Prawira Bandung actually started the first quarter 11-13 from the Pacific. However, David Singleton's team was able to take the lead thanks to four points scored in the second quarter. Prawira's poor shooting accuracy was again a problem in the second half of the match.

Prawira Bandung is one of the candidates for IBL 2022 champion. In the second match, Prawira will face West Bandits Combiphar Solo on Monday, January 17.

West Bandits themselves performed well in the first match when they met RANS PIK Basketball Club. They managed to get a victory after bending RANS PIK with a landslide score, 75-57.
