JAKARTA - Spezia managed to beat Napoli 1-0 in the continued Serie A match on Thursday morning without releasing a single shot on target.

As reported by Opta Paolo, Spezia is the first team to win a league game without firing a single shot on target for the first time since the 2004/05 season, when Opta began collecting this data.

The Liguria team had to endure the onslaught to take home the three points. In contrast, Luciano Spalletti's Napoli took a total of 26 shots, seven of which were on target.

The win could be key for Spezia, who is now five points clear of relegation candidates Genoa ahead of the Christmas break.
