Deny Rumors Of Erling Haaland Move To Real Madrid, Mino Raiola: There Is No Pre-contract Agreement With Any Club

JAKARTA - The agent of Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland, Mino Raiola, has denied rumors about his client agreeing to move to Real Madrid in 2022.

Quoted by Antara from football-Espana, Tuesday, Raiola emphasized that Haaland had not entered into a pre-contract agreement with any club and they were looking for the best option available.

"Haaland can wait for anyone. We do not have a pre-contract agreement with any club", said Mino Raiola about his client's rumors with Real Madrid.

"We will look for the best available options and I would never rule out another year at Borussia Dortmund."

Some time ago, the CEO of Borussia Dortmund Hans-Joachim Watzke said there were at least 25 clubs interested in signing Haaland next year.

In addition, Watzke also confirmed Real Madrid to be one of the 25 clubs and explained that Los Blancos were very interested in signing Haaland in the summer.

"I can name 25 teams that are interested in him at the moment. But what I believe, the only thing is that Real Madrid is very interested in him", said Watzke.

Haaland is currently being discussed as the target of many big European clubs after his good performances with Borussia Dortmund so far this season. The Norwegian striker has scored 19 goals in 16 appearances in all competitions.

In addition to the good performances shown by Haaland, the release clause of the player will reportedly drop to 75 million euros or around IDR 1.2 trillion at the end of the 2021/2022 season.

This has certainly attracted the interest of many big European clubs to sign the 21-year-old striker and are trying to get a pre-contract agreement in the winter transfer market of 2022.
