After The Indonesia Vs Myanmar Match, Shin Tae-yong Highlights A Number Of His Team Mistakes

JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team won 4-1 over Myanmar in the international test match which was held at the Emirhan Sports Complex, Antalya, Turkey, Thursday night.

The goals of the Garuda squad were scored by Ricky Kambuaya in the 5th minute, Irfan Jaya in the 12th minute, Witan Sulaeman in the 33rd minute and Ezra Walian through the penalty spot in the 55th minute. Meanwhile, one goal for Myanmar was scored by Hlaing Bo Bo in the 73rd minute.

After the match, the Indonesian national team coach, Shin Tae-Yong said that the players worked very hard in this match. He also gave appreciation to his foster children.

"Thanks to the players for this win, but there is still an evaluation. The landslide victory over Myanmar clearly makes the players' confidence even better ahead of participating in the 2020 AFF Cup," said Shin Tae-yong, cited from the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) official website, Friday.

The South Korean tactician added that in the second half he highlighted several mistakes made by the players. Especially before the game ends, the players are tired and a little less focused.

"I will continue to remind players not to make elementary mistakes. Today we also included Cahya Supriadi as a reserve goalkeeper because Syahrul Fadil is in a bad condition," added the 52-year-old coach.

This is the second trial at the training camp in Turkey, before Evan Dimas and his friends lost 0-1 to Afghanistan on November 16.

In the next trial, Indonesia will face Antalyaspor on November 28. After that, the Garuda squad will fly to Singapore on December 1, 2021, to take part in the 2020 AFF Suzuki Cup.
