JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team is part of Group B in the 2020 AFF Cup which will take place on 16 December. Being in the hell group, Shin Tae-yong is still targeting victory for the Garuda squad.

Besides Indonesia, Group B includes Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Malaysia. Cambodia and Laos may not be opponents to fear. However, Vietnam and Malaysia cannot be underestimated.

"It is also possible that we do not win, but the target is always to win," he continued.

The belief of the South Korean coach to present a championship title for Indonesia is not just an expression. The reason, so far he has made careful preparations for his team.

In addition to choosing the best players, he also continues to provide the training menu needed so that the Garuda squad performs optimally. Before leaving for Turkey to try out against Afghanistas and Myanmar, Shin Tae-yong revealed the condition of his players.

"If you look at the condition of the players and the performance of the players, they are getting better. They are physically good, they are well prepared and ready (to compete)," he explained.

Currently, Shin Tae-yong has pocketed 26 names of players who will appear in the 2020 AFF Cup. In Turkey, players will continue to be trained to achieve the best performance.
