Lamborghini Consider Presenting Sedan, Estoque Production Version?

JAKARTA - Lamborghini now only has three models in its portfolio, namely Revuelto, Temerario, and Manage. Realizing this, the manufacturer with the banteng logo went berserk', wanting to expand its fourth model.

Last year, the brand introduced the concept of the Lanzador which has the form of a Grand Tourer (GT) known as Lamborghini's future electric vehicle. However, there is one segment that this brand has not yet explored, namely sedans.

Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann said the manufacturer was considering turning on a production version of the Escoque concept that was introduced in 2008.

"We refuse to explore the SUV market again because there was an arrangement and considered an Estoque basis in 2008. That's a concept we have to develop further," Winkelmann was quoted as saying by CAR Magazine, Monday, November 18.

Of course, this is slightly contrary to Lamborghini's image that prioritizes exotic styles in its products. When Escoque was exhibited, this car was judged by the public to have an unusual form with a limousine-like look.

The concept was introduced for the first time on the 2008 Paris Motor Show as its first front-engine model since LM002.

Unfortunately, this Italian manufacturer has never provided much information about the concept. However, the car will match current powertrain options such as the V10 previously offered on Huracan or V8 hybrids which are now embedded in the Temerario or Managed.

Whatever the shape of the car, Lamborghini must make more electrification products after introducing Revuelto, Manage SE, and Temerario as plug-in hybrid (PHEV) vehicle lines.

The future model, such as the Lanzador concept, will become the basis of electric vehicles (EVs) of this brand by carrying a crossover style combined with a couple element with a 2+2 GT configuration.

This car will be equipped with a double electric motor on each double to ensure electric drive can work optimally in all conditions.

The lanzador comes with the driving of all wheels (AWD) and offers an active e-torque vector on the back axis in order to produce dynamic and smooth driving.
