Launching Next Year, Details Of Honda Prelude Revealed

JAKARTA - After being introduced in the form of a concept at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show, the production version of the Honda Prelude details began to be revealed.

Quoting from the old Paultan, Wednesday, December 18, this one car will be fully embedded with Honda's mainstay hybrid technology mover, e: HEV and it is said that there will be two driving options.

Later the production version of the Honda Prelude will pack a 1,500 cc engine and also a 2,000 cc e: HEV engine. Interestingly, a new direct injection system will also be embedded which is claimed to be able to achieve the most efficient Air-to Fuel ratio without sacrificing energy.

There is another increase in efficiency, such as changing the way machines transmit torques to wheels (via the locking coupling) at higher speeds, adding electricity assistance to the engine's direct drive mode to expand the range of operations, and optimizing the conversion of gasoline into electric power. This is claimed to make fuel more efficient by up to 10 percent.

This car is also said to weigh 90 kilograms lighter with the aim of creating the lightest platform in its class. Honda targets this car as a whole to be 10 percent lighter than its e:HEV vehicles.

Another detail Honda also embeds a new S+ Shift mode that can simulate dental movement in a way similar to the N e-shift on the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N. Interesting isn't it?
