JAKARTA - An automotive manufacturer from China, Jetour officially entered the Indonesian market after introducing two of its products, namely Dashing and X70 Plus at the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).

Now, the two products are officially sold in the Indonesian market with Dashing priced at IDR 389.8 million to IDR 430.8 million. Meanwhile, the X70 Plus model is sold for IDR 414.8 million to IDR 444.8 million.

The entry of the manufacturer into the Indonesian market is not without reason. Jetour has its own targets for global sales.

Jetour Auto Vice President, Ke Chuandeng said that his party has a global sales target of 1 million units per year by 2026 and this is expected to materialize.

This year, fortunately we can reach at least 550,000 cars for sales. And for next year, we are targeting to reach 800,000 units next year and it will continue in 2026 with the hope of reaching more than 1 million sales per year," Chuandeng said when met by the media in Senayan, Friday, November 15.

He also revealed that his party has a target to achieve sales of up to 2 million per year by 2030 with 1 million units for China and 1 million others outside the home market itself.

"And by 2030, we are targeting to reach 2 million car sales per year. 1 million for China and also 1 million others for international. So a total of 2 million cars," added Chuandeng.

Chuandeng believes that the expansion carried out by his party can make Jetour car sales grow very quickly and ensure that the breakthrough made by the manufacturer is not over.

"We are confident because at this time we are growing very fast. And for example, for Indonesia, we have just launched it. For Malaysia, not yet," concluded Chuandeng.
