JAKARTA - British auto brand Jaguar reportedly did not sell the latest car at home after ending production from F-Face.

Reported by Autocar, Saturday, November 2, the brand is no longer providing the latest models until 2026. The F-Face SUV follows other models that were stopped in the land of King Charles such as XE, XF, and F-Type assembled at Castle Bromwich, UK and E-Pace and I-Face assembled by Magna Steyr, Austria.

"Starting November 2024, new Jaguar sales will end ahead of the disclosure of our new brand later this year and product launches in 2026," Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) parent company wrote in a statement.

Now, Jaguar only provides F-Face stock available to British buyers. However, the model is still available for global products other than I-Face and E-Face.

Last year, the brand sold 21,943 units of the F-Face globally, or surpassed the combined sales of six other cars and more than doubled sales of the I-Face, which is in second place at around 7,000 units.

Meanwhile, in the first half of 2024, JLR vehicle sales were dominated by Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, and Defender. All three models account for a total of 59 percent of the company's 111,180 sales units so far.

This decision was taken after the brand made the decision to present a GT EV sports car which is claimed to have up to 600 dk of power and is expected to rival Porsche Taycan.

Later the model will be attended by a luxury Bentley Bentayga-style SUV in 2026 which will then be followed by a large luxury sedan. Both GT, SUV, and sedan cars will carry the latest platform known as JAE or Jaguar Electric Architecture.
