Neta X Electric Car Starts To Be Built In Indonesia, Its Local Content Touches 44 Percent

JAKARTA - PT NETA Auto Indonesia officially expanded the ranks of electric cars in Indonesia, most recently there was Neta X which was introduced at the GIIAS 2024 event. Now, this model has been compiled Completely Knocked Down (CKD) in the country.

This Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) assembly was carried out at the PT Handal Indonesia Motor factory located in Pondok Ungu Bekasi, West Java, the same as the first model from Neta which was assembled in the same place, namely Neta V-II.

This moment is a milestone for Neta's global journey. In addition, this achievement is also proof of Neta's commitment to continue to provide global quality electric cars with a touch of the hands of the nation's children, which can be accessed by all people in the country.

"Today is an important moment for us, because we can realize one of our commitments and strategy plans in developing our product line for the electric car market in Indonesia by inaugurating local production of Neta X by CKD," said Vice President of Overseas Business NETA Auto Liu Lei.

The model, which was exhibited to journalists while trying out Neta V-II in Bandung at that time, already had a Domestic Content Level (TKDN) of 44 percent and over time the local content will be increased.

"With the cooperation between Neta and local partners, we are optimistic that this collaboration can produce the best quality electric cars and with local components that meet government regulations, as well as encourage the development of the domestic component industry," said Managing Director of NETA Auto Indonesia Peter Zhang.

Neta will soon conduct a grand launching of the Neta X model as well as the announcement of its official price in Indonesia in September 2024. How much is the right price?
