Honda Indonesia Makes Positive Sales Trends In August, This Model Is The Most Interested

JAKARTA - PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) recorded a positive achievement in August 2024, by achieving a total of 8,515 units, an increase of 10 percent compared to the previous month.

Based on data received by VOI, the increase in sales from Japanese brands is also supported by superior SUV models from Honda, such as HR-V, BR-V to WR-V.

Honda HR-V achieved the highest SUV sales with 1,523 units, an increase of 28 percent from the previous month. Then the Honda BR-V added sales of 842 units, an increase of 46 percent compared to the previous month. In the Compact SUV segment, the Honda WR-V sold 1,127 units and sold Honda CR-V as many as 220 units.

"The sale of Honda in August 2024 is supported by the realization of the GIIAS exhibition last July," said Sales & Marketing and After Sales Director of PT HPM Yusak Billy, in an official statement received on Wednesday, September 11.

In addition, Honda Brio remains the model with the largest contribution to Honda sales, accounting for 53 percent of total sales, with 4,558 units sold in August 2024. Throughout 2024, in total Honda has managed to record sales in retail of 67,905 units, through this acquisition Honda managed to rank the top three national automotive sales.

"We are grateful that favorite models such as Honda Brio and Honda HR-V continue to be in demand by consumers and get high demand to date. We hope that this positive trend will continue to be supported by various major automotive exhibitions held in various regions in Indonesia," he added.
